Identity Verification
This is the process of confirming or denying that a claimed identity is correct by comparing the credentials (something you know, something you have, something you are) of a person requesting access with those credentials previously proven and associated with the identity being claimed.
Our solution to identity verification is the COREN Verification System (COVERS), a holistic solution based on the popular security strategy known as the IAAA (Identification, Authentication, Authorization, & Accountability).
COVERS implements identification through an identity card for engineers while also providing several methods to authenticate such identity cards i.e. via QrCode, token, USSD, & SMS.
COVERS also implements a feedback system that allows anyone to report breaches of proper engineering ethics and standards.
Professional Interactivity
These defines a structured manner of sharing experiences, ideas and opinions about topics of professional interest with people who work in the same (or a related) profession, with the outcome that the people involved in that exchange have learned something from it.
Our solution to professional interactivity is Engineer.ng, a first-of-its-kind-in-Nigeria niche social media with features tailored towards the Nigerian's engineering practitioners.
Engineer.ng features includes News aggregator, events center, e-library, classified adverts, projects showcase, resume builder, jobs portal, partnerships portal, discussion forums, groups, real time chats, publisher, tools & calculators, games, and video conferencing.
Capacity Building
These refers to the process of developing and strengthening the skills, instincts, abilities, processes, and resources that organizations and communities need to survive, adapt, and thrive in a fast-changing world.
Our solution for capacity building is SixSquare, a proposed world class, multipurpose, post graduate engineering training institutes to be located in each of the six geopolitical zones in the country.
The institutes would also act as hubs of engineering researches in Nigeria as well as host roundtables which would address local engineering problems and come up with recommendations that can form foundations of future government policies.
